Why is it SO uncomfortable to change, to get out of our comfort zones, to implement new habits, patterns, thoughts, and a way of being that reflects the person and life we always dream of creating?
I think it’s SO much harder to stay stuck and stagnant… it’s kinda lame. IT IS JUST AS UNCOMFORTABLE!
I mean, is it really that hard to muster up the courage each day to create the life we deserve. It’s just taking baby steps towards that life? Why does it feel like jumping off a cliff.. when it’s just a curb? (Thanks for that analogy Angela Ferrari 🙂
It takes grit, awareness, and a deep knowing that WE have a choice in the matter. It’s getting up everyday willing to create a new version of ourselves. If we slip back into stuck-ness, then we just choose again. Every single moment is a new opportunity to choose again.
As the momentum of the New Year wears off, I urge you to keep going. Keep waking up and nourishing yourself. Turn down that (extra) drink. Keep moving your body. Keep taking those deep breaths. Keep walking, running, hiking… Keep creating a new you. Your present, future, and higher self is cheering you on. So am I.
